A Story Published on Fictive Dream
Hannah Stevens

I'm delighted to have my flash fiction story 'A Micro-Second of Silence' published on the superb Fictive Dream.
This story was written during one of the creative cafés for writers I ran across 2025 at 涴莎藝術展演中心 Wan Sha Performing Arts Center in Tainan, Taiwan. As co-director of Wind&Bones Books I produce a range of events on writing, storytelling and creativity and the creative café was one of the many projects I had the pleasure of producing this year. It's always so inspiring to be amongst people sharing and writing stories and I often come away from these events feeling full of ideas myself.
You can read the story here.
Fictive Dream is an online magazine dedicated to the short story.
"We chose our name with more than just a backward glance to American writer and teacher John Gardner whose concept of the fictive dream remains a cornerstone of good writing. Powerful writing ensures that readers never slip out of the fictional world that a writer creates."
Huge thanks to Fictive Dream editor Laura Black for the care and enthusiasm.
